Dr. Schwanghart shared the steep rise of Himalayan Hydropower and its risk to the environment. He also highlighted recent Hydropower damage to the vulnerability of Himalayan Hydropower to geomorphological events. As well as reflected on terrain analysis as a tool and measure to characterize sensitive landscapes and predict damage.

Dr. Wolfgang Schwanghart has completed his PostDoc at the University of Potsdam, Working Geohazards, funded by PROGRESS.
